Thank you for contacting Yahoo!7 Customer Care.

So you’ve heard Yahoo! 360 is closing? Well it’s true. After careful
consideration, we have decided to close the Yahoo! 360 sites in early
2008. We always strive to provide you with the best services possible

and we’ll be doing that throughout this transition.

We realize that you, our 360 consumers, have put a lot of effort into
building sites and sharing these with your community. As we work to
fully package migration options for your social network on the Yahoo!
suite of services, Yahoo! 360 will remain an active vibrant site for
your network of friends. We make the following three commitments:

– We will preserve your 360 blog content and community;
– We will put the right mechanisms in place to move your blog content;
– We will give you ample notification before this transition begins in
early 2008.

We at Yahoo! remain dedicated to social networking and community
building businesses worldwide. You’ll be hearing more details from us
soon. In the meantime, more detailed information is available on our
Product Page at:

Thanks so much for your dedication to Yahoo! 360

    In other words: “Let’s see if we are getting bought by Microsoft or if we are buying AOL”…..we are already in the 2nd quarter of the year and nothing has yet been done…glad I didn’t wait on them….

    Problems get more, old pages, no adding, no testi, no comments… sometimes blog is eaten… movies will not appear…
    maybe they close, maybe not… we really still have middle of 2008 and i cannot really believe they will close, the earn too much with us and information… why they should?

    Hmmmmmmmmm, does (let’s say, at the very earliest) May count as early 2008? I think not. They have no clue what they are doing. Imagine – Yahoo Mail, a simple rip-off of G-Mail, has been “in development” for about a year and it still sucks. I think Bill Gates is getting a bad bargain!

    If yahoo 360 leaves us, than at least give us Chat rooms so we can keep in touch with each other…..Like another network does…
    Shit they give you a Bunch of chatrooms to pick frommmmm…..

    Ahhh I see you got the caned responce from the yahoo computer (oops I should have said cusing service , oops customet dis service) Not going to hold my breath for them to make the change Just wish they would put a tensy witsy bit of service into keeping what little we have left working. MSN made them an offer but the refused it all that remains to be seen is if MS does a hostile take over of the company.

    well its early 2009…lol….. they make WAY too much money off of this site to shut it down, and if they ever do? Multiply is better by far!.. way more control and privacy and they actually crack down on abusive members. if they continue they get their IP blocked.. Yahoo should do this.. it would make a much better place of it..Yahoo doesn’t do anything about abusive people on the site. I could point out a couple of cyber gangs that make this place a living hell. They actually violate the ENTIRE Yahoo TOS every day.. they post child porn.. it takes yahoo MONTHS to react IF they react. They don’t stop harassment.. Yahoo 360 is becoming like a dumping ground for the mentally deficient! They lead virtual fantasy lives, pretend to be some one else..believe themselves to be so above it all yet spend 24-7 online while claiming they have this rich life in the real world.. its just too much some days..lol.. You wanna good laugh.. dig up “the holy alliance” and the UNholy alliance” here on 360.. just two of them.. it’s like a cheap Latino soap opera..lol..
