because I had tickets to see one of my most favourite human beings, singer/musician Vince Jones.

Now I don\’t expect a lot of people outside of Australia have heard of him unless you are particularly into Jazz music.

What can I say except he and his band were absolutely AWESOME.

One of the things I love most about him is the things he believes in and is passionate about as a human being. That the world needs more love, that we need to look after the environment, that the power to change things lies with us, the people.

I bought his CD while there and it has the most beautiful quote of his and I am going to put it in here right now…

\”I believe music can be used to melt military tongues, I believe music can connect wires in the human mind and awaken love in the heart of the community. I believe greed, war and discrimination are waiting in anticipation for a song to delete them once and for all. I hope we – all of us human beings – write those songs with our lives.\” Vince Jones

If you want to have a listen to some of his music go to his website http://www.vincejones.com.au

What a way to spend an evening. I almost didn\’t go because I have been so unwell, but fortunately I am starting to feel so much better. I am so glad I went to see him because I haven\’t seen him live for quite a few years and its good to know he just gets better and better as he gets older.

Love Me xxxxxxxx

OMG! You must love Harry Connick Jr. then! I love jazz, I’ve heard of Vince Jones but I’m not familiar with a lot of his music. Being from Canada it’s not unusual that Canadians and Australians share a lot of everything from outlooks, laws, music and entertainment.

I was at a jazz nightclub for New Year’s in 2004. Here’s to jazz and what it does for the soul *cheers*
